The Call of Duty 4 release date is November 5th, 2007. The most popular games table at Gamespot has revealed this [see COD4 date]. Gamestop also lists this date for COD4. After that American date, the European release follows on November 9th, 2007. But on August 22nd a worldwide simultaneous release date was promised by Activision on November 5th, 2007.


Call of Duty 4 System Requirements Revealed

With the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare singleplayer demo due out tomorrow, the folks over at Activision have released some official system requirements for their highly anticipated first person shooter. So what kind of setup will you need to play the game? Read on:

  • CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 2.4 GHz or AMD(R) Athlon(TM) 64 2800+ processor or any 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor or better supported
  • RAM: 512MB RAM (768MB for Windows Vista)
  • Harddrive: 8GB of free hard drive space
  • Video card (generic): NVIDIA(R) Geforce(TM) 6600 or better or ATI(R) Radeon(R) 9800Pro or better

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare) is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for PC, Macintosh, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii. Call of Duty 4 was in development for two years, and it uses a proprietary game engine.Call of Duty 4 features team-based and deathmatch-based multiplayer modes on various maps.
